--Dual Kit with two EFIS, one the primary and the other a secondary.
--All features of primary unit are shown on the secondary display. (E.g. Primary display shows AHRS screen, while the secondary shows engine instruments.)The secondary EFIS doesn't have sensors for horizon and magnetic compass, can use the sensors from the primary EFIS.

FUNCTIONS DESCRIPTION:

--AHRS (artificial horizon, giro stabilized compass, HSI, turn and bank), air data (IAS, TAS, vario, altitude), engine (RPM, EGT, CHT, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant pressure, coolant temperature, manifold pressure, voltages, currents, carburetor temperature), fuel computer (fuel level, fuel consumption, economy, endurance), black box, check lists, log book, configurable user interface (language, alarms, units, graphics), SD card, moving map, airspaces, waypoints, airfields, ground speed, position (GPS position, wind), HSI over the map, flight planning, vertical airspace situation, flight analysis and statistics, free updates of airspaces, waypoints and airfield information. Note: Daqu unit is included in the price.

--Nesis uses three basic panels to organize the information for the pilot: flight instruments panel, navigation panel and engine instruments panel.

--Basic flight instruments in a combination of classic and modern form: airspeed, altitude, vario, RPM with manifold pressure, artificial horizon, moving map and HSI, engine status panel and fuel computer panel. All these instruments together provide essential information that pilot needs most of the time during the flight.

--Large navigation panel provides complete navigation information with heading up moving map, airspaces, vertical airpace cross-section, 5 and 10 min prediction points. It also displays numeric information about current waypoint and route situation like: bearing, tracking, distance, ETA, cross-track error, ... on the bottom bar. The top bar reveals wind, true airspeed, GPS status and local time.

--The third panel is dedicated to the engine instruments. All the instruments can be fully configured via a XML file for almost any aircraft. The scales may be displayed in different units (imperial, metric). The picture shows instruments optimized for Rotax 912.

--The modern look of the artificial horizon combined with the engine instruments and some flight information labels.

--The menu panel is simply accessible and easy to use. Just select the icon and press the OK button.

WHAT IS IN THE BOX?

--DAQU (data acquisition unit) is typically mounted on the engine side of the firewall in order to reduce the cables length and holes in the firewall. It collects the engine and fuel information, process the information and transmits it via CAN bus.
--NESIS module is build into the cockpit and is composed of AIRU (air data unit and inertial module), MABU motherboard unit and logger, embedded PC computer board and user interface (LCD screen, buttons, knobs). The information is exchanged using CAN bus.
--MAGU (magnetic field unit - compass module) is mounted on a carefully selected remote location away from any iron based metal objects like engine, struts, rods, etc. Such location must be found for each airplane individually. It is connected to CAN bus.
--For the CAN bus we are using twisted-pair four wire cables. Cables are connected via hi-quality, water proof, sub-miniature connectors.

--The Nesis concept, make this EFIS very easy to install, even to a people without avionics experience.
